Message from Chief Ethics Counsellor
Tata group has always been known as a value-driven organisation. These values continue to direct the growth and business of Tata companies. Tata Core values and TCoC guide us to conduct fairly with all stakeholders and do business ethically – everything we do must stand the test of self (is this Tata Way?) and public scrutiny.
During the course of conducting our duties ethically, we may come across challenges & dilemmas. TCoC and various policies on Ethics adopted by us will guide us to take decisions fairly. Therefore, suggest all to read all these policies and codes as specified in TCoC. If there is any doubt then please get it clarified from your HOD, Ethics Coordinator or Ethic Counsellor.
Various Ethics related declarations will also display our commitment to uphold TATA Values and execute our duty with Integrity. With the support of TATA Steel, an IT based declaration system “DARPAN” has been launched to enable all employees to submit online declaration on COI, TCoC, G&H etc. I urge everyone to visit DARPAN and submit the necessary declarations to exhibit our commitment on strengthening Ethical culture in TSLPL.
Let us commit and demonstrate our actions and behaviour for ethics excellence to be “Most Ethical Company”
Vilas N Gaikwad
Chief Ethics Counsellor
