Business Responsibility has today assumed centre stage with the changed expectations of society from businesses in recent years, to act responsibly and keeping in mind the impact of their actions on people, the society and the environment. Business houses are increasingly turning to CSR to make a difference and build a positive brand image.

All India Management Association (AIMA)’s annual project excellence contest & awards during its yearly ‘Business Responsibility Summit focuses on the stellar role that corporates have played in executing CSR projects. It aims at honouring and award companies which have done outstanding work to return to the society and demonstrate exceptional CSR projects.

In preparatory to its 9th Summit that culminated on 4th August, AIMA had invited entries for best CSR projects from its member organisations against which the company too made an application, showcasing the Swabhiman Project under which 800 toilets & bathrooms have been constructed in Joda. This project has not only enabled an entire gram panchayat to become open defecation free but also set new health & hygiene standards in most of the 14 hamlets within the GP.

It is a pleasure to inform that of the several applications received from member companies, and presentations made thereafter, TSLP was declared 1st Runner Up, during the Summit held on 4th August.  A recognition from an illustrious Association like AIMA validates the exemplary work carried out by the company in the field of Health & Hygiene and will go a long way in furthering our endeavor in this direction, and in touching more lives from our future endeavors.
